PRACTICE AREAS

Bryan Thompson, the founding attorney of Rod of Iron Estate Planning and Litigation, brings a unique blend of experience and passion to his practice. Before embarking on his legal career, Bryan served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was involved in container port operations, experiences that instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and commitment. He transitioned into law, earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2016. As Class Vice President, he focused his studies on Probate, Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Mediation, demonstrating early on his dedication to resolving conflicts with empathy and efficiency.

Away from the rigors of his practice, Bryan finds joy and relaxation in motorcycle rides and cherishing moments with his wife and young daughter, reflecting his belief in the importance of family and personal time.

Bryan is deeply committed to serving the needs individuals and their families, understanding the nuances of their lives, businesses, and aspirations for charitable giving. His expertise spans both domestic and international probate administration, trust and estate planning, charitable giving strategies, and navigating contested matters.
